Table ronde des logiciels libres

FACIL (facil.qc.ca) cherche des développeurs de logiciels libres pour
participer à une table ronde avec d'autres développeurs. Nous invitons
aussi les enthousiastes pour assister à cet événement qui aura
certainement une forte teneur pratique.

Voici un aperçu des thèmes qui seront couverts:

- Comment vous avez commencé, un projet existant ou un nouveau projet?

- Selon votre expérience, quelle est la dynamique d'un nouveau projet?
Est-ce que cette dynamique change au cours de la vie du projet?

- Pour des projets existants, quels ont été vos problèmes à vous joindre
aux projets? Des difficultés particulières ou non?

- Que faire quand du code developpé n'est pas accepté par les
administrateurs du projet? Ça arrive plus souvent qu'on ne le pense, et
pas parce que c'est la qualité du code qui soit en question, y'a de la
politique!

- Quels sont les défis pour un projet existant avec plusieurs
développeurs actifs? Comment gérer des développeurs bénévoles, parfois
trop, parfois pas assez?

- Autres idées, expériences en tant que contributeur ou administrateur
de projet?

FACIL (facil.qc.ca) is looking for free software developers to
participate in a roundtable with other developers. We also invite
enthusiasts to assist this event which will certainly have strong
practical content.

Here is an overview of the topics which will be covered:

- How did you start, an existing project or a new project?

- According to your experience, what is the dynamic of a new project?
Does this dynamic change during the lifetime of the project?

- For existing projects, what have been your problems to join projects?
Any difficulties in particular or not?

- What to do when the developed code is not accepted by the maintainers
of the project? This happens more often than we'd like to think, and not
that the quality of the code in question, there are politics!

- What are the challenges of an existing project with multiple active
developers? How to manage voluntary developers, sometimes too many,
sometimes not enough?

- Other ideas, experiences as a project contributor or maintainer?
